Keno was invented some 3000 years ago by Cheung Leung, a ruler of the great Han Dynasty. The game was based on a popular poem at the time, “The Thousand Character Classic.” This poem was, and is today, a popular way for people to learn how to count, using one thousand Chinese symbols, none of them repeating itself.

Live Music and Music Bingo at the Ross Bay Pub have been suspended due to the BC Provincial Health Order now in place. We will resume Live Music on Thursdays and Music Bingo on Saturdays once the order has been lifted.
